The 4.1 patch of Legends of Runeterra is the first major patch of 2023 and brings with it a new competitive format and balance cycle. Champions Unlimited Best of One will be available for two days before the Daily Rumble cycle switches back to Best of Three. On the 18th, the first Runeteran Open will take place, a nine round event with big trophies and titles up for grabs. This tournament will replace the Seasonals and will be a big in-game tournament once a month.
