Today we’re talking about Demacia Ramp, a Trundle-based Freljord ramp deck that uses combos involving Anaacka from the Darkin Spear Tianna and Cithria. We used a similar deck to climb into Masters, but it didn’t feel like it was firing on all cylinders. We weren’t getting any Fiora OTKs or even coming close to threatening them, so I wanted to rework the deck after playing more games with it.
One of the biggest changes I made was to include Trundle. Trundle works fantastically in this deck. On turn three, you can play Winter’s Touch, and then on turn four you can play Trundle and have a Single Combat ready.
Overall, Demacia Ramp is a powerful deck that can be used to climb into Masters. It’s important to include Trundle and Petrocyte Broadwing, and to focus on the mid-rangey style decks. You won’t be able to beat the aggro decks, but you can have a good matchup against the control decks. Good luck, and have fun!
