Today, we’re taking a look at the new 4.4 patch and the cards that have been rebalanced. We’re going to be trying out Kadregrin the Infernal and Targonian Tellstones.
Kadregrin is a card that has been upgraded to give dragons everywhere plus four plus four, which used to be plus two plus two. This is a huge amount of stats that can be generated off of a single card. For example, if you have two dragons on the board, you can generate 31 stats off of a single card. That’s a lot of power!
Targonian Tellstones is another card that has been rebalanced. It was Reddit’s favorite for the most broken card out of the set. It’s not quite as powerful as Hush, but it does provide a lot of late game value. It can generate an invoke and an expensive combat trick.
The Champions we’re using in this deck are Pantheon and Shyvana. At its core, this is a Wounded White Flame deck. The Wounded White Flame ties everything together. It’s a dragon, it gives you an early unit to help level up Shyvana, and it ties in with the rest of our dragons with Kadregrin giving it a boost.
This is a Bruiser Brawler style deck. We’re looking to control the board with one really big unit, be it Wounded White Flame or Shyvana. We want to grow our units to be bigger than the opposing units, and then crash into our opponent with a big overwhelm unit or a Rally and a giant collection of stats on the board.
