Samira Jinx – Discard Aggro

Today I’m going to be doing battle with Samira Jinx. I’ve spent the past few videos taking a look at the Singleton gauntlets, and now I’m ready to dive back into Standard before the new variety set comes out next week.

Before we talk about this deck in particular, I wanted to give a few announcements and notifications regarding the upcoming and past events. The variety set will come out next week, and then in June there are two Runeterra Opens, one on the 10th and one on the 17th. Both of these events will be in the Eternal format, so it’s important to keep that in mind.

The Runeterra Opens over the past weekend were a great success, and if you want to see some of the better performers, the VODs are up on the Legends of Runeterra YouTube page. Krios played Annie Jhin, Samira Jinx, and Shen Jarvan in this event, and we’ll be playing these decks in the upcoming Ruthless Rumble.

Samira Jinx should be very familiar to you if you’ve played decks like Discard Jinx or Jinx Draven in the past. The core strategy of the deck is to flood the board with units, then play Vision to give them all a bonus. You want to get way more units on the board than your opponent has, and then finish off the game with a small burn package between Jinx and Mystic Shots.

This is a very interesting deck to me, and I’m excited to jump into battle and see what we can get done. I think it’s important to embrace the aggro love and accept our mistakes, so let’s get out there and give it our best shot!
