I’m here to talk about the Trundle Timelines deck. This is our second video of the 4.5 patch and I’m excited to show you all the new changes that have come with the Eternal season and the variety patch.
The idea behind the Trundle Timelines deck is to play units with terrible stat lines but powerful abilities. We do this by taking advantage of the Improvise mechanic. For example, we have Piltovan Castaway, a 2-1 unit with Improvise and Attune. Concurrent Timelines gives us the ability to convert it into a better 3-cost unit. This is a great way to get a high-stat unit with a powerful ability.
Another new addition to this style of deck is the Augmented Clockling. This unit comes into play and gives us a Predict, a card draw, and the ability to convert it into a 5-5. This card also lets us dig for cards like Feel the Rush, It That Stares, and Buried in Ice.
Finally, I want to talk about the Innovative Blacksmith. This card was introduced in the Variety set and it’s been really successful. It’s a 2-2 with Improvise for 3, and it has the ability to heal your Nexus by 1 each round the first time you Forge or Equip an Ally. This card has been great for healing for 2, 3, and 4 damage.
Overall, the Trundle Timelines deck is a great way to take advantage of the Improvise mechanic and get powerful units with great abilities. I’m excited to jump into battle and see how it goes!
