Teemo Tristana is not a new deck by any means. As soon as Tristana was buffed a few patches ago, the Atrocity version we’re seeing today first made its way onto the scene. With the updates to Bandle Gunners and the release of Glory and Novori, newer versions of Tristana hit. If you’ve been playing standard over the past couple of months, you’ve most likely run into Teemo Tristana.
The core idea with this style of deck is to use the 10-12-14 power Tristana to make an attack. Your opponent will block it with their 1-1 unit, but you don’t get to do any damage. This deck strives to find a way to take advantage of these high attack Tristanas with Atrocity. With the 4.5 patch, Atrocity was buffed to its original form and is now a seven Mana fast spell.
Outside of the big combos, the deck has a lot of play patterns that you should be used to if you’ve been playing a lot of Tristana. It has a wide board presence with both Bandle Commander and Grandfather Fae generating the Hungry Owlcats. We also have Tenor of Terror to summon two units at once, Bandle City Mayor to generate a unit in hand, and Hate Spike to take down Draven and Jinx.
