In this informative blog post, I’ll be discussing a YouTube video about the popular game Legends of Runeterra. The video covers various topics, including my milestone of reaching 500 battles and the excitement surrounding it.
The video focuses on the first variety patch of the Fates Voyage onward expansion, introducing new dragons and nerfs to cards like Cosmic Call and Concurrent Timelines. One of the highlights is the new card called King Fisher. This powerful 9-mana 8/8 champion summoning card can draw one of each Champion from my deck. What makes King Fisher particularly interesting is its rally effect, triggered by summoning a champion at the start of each round.
I’ve developed an unconventional deck strategy around King Fisher, combining formidable core cards with high-cost champions like Volibear and Jarvan. The goal is to make use of King Fisher’s rally effect for strong end-game plays. I aim to cast King Fisher for either 7 or 8 mana, drawing Lucian in the process. This allows me to play Lucian and trigger a rally. If the game continues, I plan to make an open attack on the next turn, summon Jarvan for another rally effect.
King Fisher offers more consistency compared to Galio and provides potential game-ending moments towards the end of matches. In addition to King Fisher, my deck includes other champions like Lucian, Galio, and Volibear. I also incorporate formidable generators and Darken Spear as a formidable-boosting card.
To enhance my gameplay, I include spells like The Skysplitter Elixir, Von, and Three Sisters for combat tricks. Gentleman’s Duel and the now nerfed Champion’s Strength card add to the deck’s versatility. Champion’s Strength, in particular, has proven useful for healing weak formidable boards and turning the tide of battles.
Overall, this YouTube video provides insights into my journey with Legends of Runeterra, highlights the King Fisher card, and showcases an unconventional deck strategy. Stay tuned for more updates and strategies within the world of Legends of Runeterra!
