Annie Jhin – Yasuo Wishes He Stunned This Good

Today we’re going to be talking about Annie Jhin, a deck that has been around for a while and has recently been making a comeback. I’ve always had a bit of a stigma against this deck, feeling like my opponents were just getting lucky every time. But after watching Krios’s success in the Runeterra Open, I’m starting to think that maybe this deck isn’t just luck, and that there’s something to it.

Annie Jhin is an aggro deck, but it plays differently than something like Pirates. Instead of flooding the board with cheap units and attacking, you’re looking to set up situations where you can stun your opponent’s most effective blocker and then crash through with the rest of your smaller units. You also have a lot of ways to close out the game with Noxian Fervor, Annie’s Tibbers, and Jhin’s flip ability.

I’m starting to think that this deck is a great one to pick up for a few reasons. First, it’s a very challenging deck to play, and I’m finding that the misplays become very obvious. This is great for learning and improving your game. Second, Jhin’s ability to include spells and skills from all factions means that he will only get stronger as more cards are added to the game.

In the next couple of videos, we’ll be taking this lineup into the Ruthless Rumbles to see if we can replicate some of Krios’s success. I’m excited to see how this deck performs and to learn more about it. Stay tuned!
