Today I’m playing Age of Dragons Aurelion Sol. This deck is all about ramping up to the big spells and overwhelming my opponent with the sheer expensiveness of the cards.
The meta is really starting to define itself with Evelynn taking the top spot. Siren’s Song is really defining the format. I’m looking to capitalize on the time it takes for the Song to ramp up by ramping even harder.
Winter’s Touch and the Wild Mysticism to help me play my big cards faster. I also have the Eclipse Dragon which can help me ramp up to Aurelion Sol. These cards can help me limit my opponent’s game plan and give me some breathing room.
My early game is pretty abysmal, but I have some cards like Cosmic Youngling, Solari Sunhawk, and Avalanche to help me slow down my opponent’s mid-rangey decks. That way I can get some time to ramp up and play my bigger spells. If the game does drag on, I should be able to overpower my opponent with the sheer expensiveness of my cards.
