Welcome to Battles With Bust #301, where we’re taking a closer look at Noxus Tristana. This isn’t the first time we’ve looked at Tristana, but it’s the first time we’re really taking a deep dive into the Noxus version of the deck. We’ve seen a lot of aggressive decks come out of the 4.1 patch, and Tristana is no exception. But is it here to stay, or is it just a flash in the pan? Let’s take a look.

Tristana has two main strategies. The first is to use Tristana with Might to get her attack up to 6, 7, or 8 along with overwhelm. This allows her to deal a lot of damage, even if your opponent has flooded the board with small units. The second strategy is to finish the game with Reveler’s Feast. This deck has a cheap curve, so it’s easy to flood the board with units and then use Reveler’s Feast to deal a big chunk of damage.

This version of Tristana also has a small elusives package. Teemo and Bandle Commando are both great for generating extra damage with Reveler’s Feast. They also work well with Wandering Shepherd, who can give them a plus two attack bonus. This gives you an extra four to six damage from Reveler’s Feast.

I don’t think it’s necessary to go bigger than Tenor of Terror in the top end of the deck. I also don’t think it’s necessary to play more than two copies of Might. Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing, and I think two copies is enough.
So, is Noxus Tristana here to stay? I think it has a place in the meta, and it’s definitely a strong laddering deck. It’s also great for best of three, and there are plenty of optimizations that can be made to make it even better. It’s a great deck for aggressive players, and I think it’s here to stay.
