Today, we’re going to be doing battle with Norra Jayce. Norra Jayce is an interesting concept that hasn’t been seen around too much lately, but there are a few angles to consider when looking at this deck.

First and foremost, Albus Farros just got an upgrade in the 4.1 patch. He used to start off his ramping damage-based ability at one, but now it starts at three. This means he can get some really powerful punches in, and I’d equate him to a Decimate that draws a card.

With the addition of Bandle City, we get to start playing better removal spells like Pokey Stick. We also get access to Minimorph, which is a very powerful six cost spell. It’s not something we’re going to be able to double up with Jace, but it’s still powerful in this current format with Kayle and Leona running around. We can also look into playing something like Hidden Pathways as a six cost draw two that synergizes with the rest of the deck.

Jayce also does a little bit of unit summoning that can help Norra level up more quickly. Cards like Forge of Tomorrow and Assembly Line summon units, so there are some additional synergies tying in with Nora.

The last spell we’re not playing is Eclectic Collection. If you’re looking to just have some fun, Eclectic Collection is something you can certainly look to put in here. It ties in nicely with both Jayce and Norra, and having Jayce double copy it is a pretty interesting thing to do.
