The deck revolves around the usage of Trundle and the Old Timer. Trundle generates the Ice Pillar, which when played refills eight Mana. This allows you to play the Old Timer and spend a total of 16 Mana in one turn. Sett’s flip also becomes much easier to activate after playing the Pillar.
To further strengthen the deck, there are several support options to consider. You can add in Karma for added versatility or incorporate a ramp package to include Demacia’s big units or Targon’s mighty dragons. Another option is Noxusis exploring combinations with Yasuo and Katarina.
However, I ultimately settled on Jax as a great addition. His presence provides a nice mid-range element to the deck, ensuring that the champions complement the powerful combo of Feel the Rush.
This deck also offers some unique features. With access to Ionia cards, we have Twin Disciplines, a versatile combat trick. Additionally, the inclusion of a small recall package with Unworthy Soul can be incredibly useful against decks featuring Aatrox. To enhance the mid-range aspect, we have bonus stats from cards like Omen Hawk and Avarosan Hearthguard.
Lastly, we can’t forget about Warden of the Tribes. Even with just two or three subtypes throughout the game, this card proves to be a game-changer. From Weapon Masters to Lonely Poros, Frost Cubs, and Grandfather Fae, these cards not only add complexity but also excel against aggro decks.
