Today we’re doing battle with Evelyn and Nidalee. I’m really excited to try out some of the new cards in this format and I wanted to give this combo between Evelyn and Nidalee a try.
For those of you who don’t know, Nidalee flips when four allies are transformed or summoned. Evelyn does both of these things. She comes onto the board and summons a husk at the start of the turn, and she flips back and forth frequently, which counts as a transform. So, when we have a flipped Evelyn on the board with Nidalee, we can roll into the next turn and Evelyn will go back to level one, which counts as a transform. Then she’ll summon a husk, which will count as another level up towards Nidalee.
I also wanted to make use of the Siren Song in this deck. Whenever you play it, it summons a husk and gives all of your one cost allies everywhere plus one plus one. This means that all of our husks from this point forward will have that stat bonus applied to it. I also included a One Drops theme, not just boosting up the husks, but also including cards like Bristle Hog, All-Terrain Trooper, and the Towering Parfait.
Finally, I wanted to make a note about the All-Terrain Trooper and the husks. There’s a bug going on with them, and I haven’t been able to narrow down exactly what it takes for this to happen. If you’ve seen this, be sure to let us know.
