Today I’m playing Jinx Draven in the 4.5 patch. This patch has some new cards and updates that I’m excited to explore. The first card I’m adding to the mix is Blowback. This card costs 4 mana and deals 1 damage to the opposing Nexus and to an opposing unit. You can discard up to two cards to increase the damage by 1 for each card discarded. This card has been playing out much better than I expected and has exceeded my expectations.
Another important update is that Draven is back to having 3 health. This makes him much more resilient to Mystic Shots and High Notes, which puts him above Samira in this style of deck. Samira recently got a nerf in the 4.5 patch, making it harder to hit the rallies and the Flair she generates can only target herself.

This deck has a lot of variety and you can go aggressive with it by including more one drops like Legion Rearguard and Zaunite Urchin. You can also go for a more burn heavy route by including Mystic Shot, Get Excited, Noxian Fervor, and Decimate. You could even include Boom Crew Rookie to ignore your opponent’s units and game plan and send all the damage right to the face.
I’m seeing a lot of counter strategies in the format right now, like Norra and Stellacorns. To combat these units, I’m going back to the classic strategy of Runeterra and using Elusive, Overwhelm, and Rally. This version of the deck features Crowd Favorite and Poro Canon to give us ways to Elusive and Overwhelm our opponent’s board.
I’m playing three copies of Blowback, but I think that’s too many. Drawing a second copy tends to be pretty terrible, so I think it should only be at one or two copies.
That’s the deck I’m playing today and I’m excited to show off Draven and Blowback. Let’s get into the battle!
