Today I’m taking on the Altar of Unity. Before we dive into the deck, I wanted to mention that Riot recently announced that they would be nerfing Concurrent Timelines in Eternal back up to two mana. The hotfix had not hit the servers at the time this video was recorded.
Today, I’m focusing on the Altar of Unity, which was released in the 4.5 variety patch. I wanted to put this card into a shell that could function without it, so I chose the Daybreak shell. This shell has a powerful early game collection of units, like the Solari Soldier, the Solari Shieldbearer, and the Solari Sunhawk. These units are great for stalling the game until we can get our four mana landmark onto the board. We also have Leona, Sun Guardian, and Rahvun to provide a defensive wall.

Once we get the Altar of Unity on board, we have a handful of cards that can make it shine. Leona becomes a 5-5, and Silver Wing Vanguard becomes a 4-4 Challenger. Mihira comes onto the board as a 5-5, and the Lawkeeper upgrades to a 6-7, stunning all enemy units with five or less attack. We also have some spells, like Single Combat and Sunburst, Pale Cascade, and Champion’s Strength.
That’s the deck I’m doing battle with today. Let’s jump on in and see if we can find some good games!
