Today I’m here to talk about the upcoming Ruthless Rumbles and the Runeterra Open. I’m a big fan of best of three and I’m excited to be playing a lot of it over the next week. Today I’m playing Aatrox Vayne, Samira Pantheon, and Demacia Tristana.
My number one piece of advice for this format is to play decks that you like. It’s important to have fun while playing, and if you don’t enjoy the deck you’re playing, you won’t have a good performance. With the recent rotation, it’s important to play good cards. You don’t want to be playing the third or fourth best aggro deck in the format, because you won’t have enough cards to sustain it.
When it comes to picking and banning, I like to ban the deck with the most big single target removal. This is usually Karma Sett, but it could also be Heimerdinger Jayce or Noxus with Lord Broadmane. I want to make sure I’m playing decks that can beat Tristana, so I’m playing Aatrox Vayne, which can control the board well enough, and Samira Pantheon, which has a Bruiser strategy.
