Today I’m going to be doing battle with Samira Fizz. Samira Fizz was far and away the best deck coming out of the Glory for Novori. It’s a very non-interactive, fast, and powerful deck. But when the balance patch came out, a few cards got nerfed and it started to fall out of the top tier of the meta.

However, as time has moved on, a lot of the cards didn’t get nerfed we’re moved into the deck and Samira somehow dodged the Nerf Stick. This has allowed new versions of the deck to come about and now there isn’t a real consensus on the exact numbers across all of these cards. NA player infinipatrons typically hangs out in the top 5 of the NA ladder, and I started out with their list.
This deck is now moving more directly into the plunder mechanics and including Powder Pandemoniums. We saw a little bit of Powder Pandemonium in the previous set, but this is the new hotness. What you’re going to see out of this deck is that we are really looking to maximize our mana spend throughout the course of the game. We don’t want to be in a spot to where we have to over bank mana at any point and we want to do our best effort to convert all of our mana into as much damage as possible.
We have this package of Warning Shot and Stylish Shot, paired with Monkey Business and Powder Pandemonium. All of these cards deal one or sometimes two damage to the opponent. It doesn’t sound like much, but it’s the sum of the whole that really brings this together and adds a lot of power to the deck. We don’t necessarily go all in on the first turn, but we will look to do as much damage as possible.
