To make the deck even more formidable, we’ve made some specific card choices. One of the new additions to the deck is the “Tufted Web Spinner,” a fearsome unit with the spider keyword. Although its ability may not always be activated, its primary purpose is to be a strong fearsome attacker. Another important inclusion is the “Dawning Shadows,” a spell that was recently buffed, reducing its cost to 6 mana. This spell weakens all opposing units, allowing you to eliminate their strongest threats and clear the path for your other units to attack unblocked.
You may have noticed that we have a significant number of spiders in this deck but chose to use Kalista as our champion instead of Elise. This decision was made based on the fact that Elise doesn’t provide enough value for this particular deck. While we do have spiders in the deck, we are not solely focused on generating and overwhelming our opponents with them.
Lastly, we have included a single copy of “Soul Cleave,” a powerful card with various synergies within the deck. Its ability to automatically activate Kalista’s flip and summon two ephemeral units can be devastating for your opponents. It also works well with the “Frenzied Skitterer,” weakening enemy units, and boosting your spiders. Additionally, it has a classic combo with “The Wraith Caller,” summoning additional units.
