Today I’m going to be talking about a Zoe Afelios Victor deck that I’ve been playing recently. This deck is all about flooding the board with cheap units and getting a lot of incidental value out of cards like Ballistic Bot and Ignition. The goal is to eventually overwhelm your opponent with card advantage and close out the game with one of the big spells.
Recently, I’ve been experimenting with a different approach to the deck. Instead of playing the expensive cards, I’m going with a more aggressive approach. I’m taking my cues from NA’s top player, Drisoth, who has been talking about this deck in terms of Eternal. This version of the deck focuses on getting in chip damage with elusive units and then burning the opponent out with Get Exciteds, Blowbacks, and Mystic Shots.

The way I’m playing this deck is to get an early start with a Zoe or Augmented Clockling and then chip away at the opponent’s health with three or four points of elusive damage each turn. I’m also using Ballistic Bot to nug the opponent over and over again. If things aren’t going according to plan, Aphelios can come in and deliver a big crash of damage to get the opponent closer to burn range.
Finally, I just want to take a moment to celebrate my recent accomplishments. I recently unlocked the Pinnacle of Glory and got my top eight in the Runetera Open. I’m going to take a moment to flex and show off my Top Eighter title. After that, I’ll switch back to the Pool Party and no title, but it’s nice to bask in the accomplishments every once in a while. Here’s hoping I can elude my way into some victories!
