Battles with Bust #346 – Aatrox Reaver’s Row – Little Becomes Big
Today I’m taking on Aatrox Reaver’s Row. This deck has been popping up lately and I’m excited to give it a try.
The Reaver’s Row deck is all about taking advantage of one-cost units. The namesake card Reaver’s Row gives you a bonus when you have multiple units on the board. We also have cards like Jagged Taskmaster that give one-cost units an extra boost. And then there’s Steem, which allows us to spread vulnerable across the board.
But the card that really ties it all together is Darkin Bloodletters. This card lets you upgrade one of your weaker units, trade it off in combat, and get a replacement one-cost unit. This is a great way to get some strong attacks out of your weaker units.
If we can’t finish the game with our one-cost units, we have a lot of late game power. We have access to Aatrox and the various Darkin equipment. This gives us a great way to come in and close out a game.
So that’s the deck I’m playing with today. Let’s jump in and see if we can get some good games!
